Dedicated to educating young woman
about honoring their femininity.
Yoni is the Sanskrit word
for Sacred Place. The word "Yoni" is synonymous with the word "Vagina" here.
As a young woman, there are changes that occur within
our minds and bodies. We start to think and feel differently
because our body is preparing us for a wonderful journey.
Parents at some point have to remember that these changes
occur and must address this transition into womanhood.
Although this communication can be a little frightening
for both mother and child, there is great need for the
communication to take place and it should begin early.
This page and the Yoni Love® Workshop
is dedicated to assisting young woman through this
journey in the most caring, educational and peaceful
way. We aim to teach all, that these changes are
natural, beautiful and honorable. Here and during
a Yoni Love Workshop, young women and parent will
learn about the following:
- Anatomy/Puberty
- Menstruation
- Foods, vitamins and herbs for menstruation
health
- The use of pads, tampons, cups and sea sponge
tampons
- Yoni Love® Mantras,
Celebration and Rituals
- Creating a special Yoni Love Gift
- Discussion about
respect for space/boundaries
- Example of negative
effect media has on young women
- And much, much more
Please note that parents are asked to share their
experience in the beginning of the workshop and then
participate later to see what their daughters have
learned and also help create their special gift. |
